Here you will find a set of prompts and guidance for keeping a photo journal during a school internship abroad. The resource introduces photo journaling as a tool for reflective practice, encouraging student teachers to document and make meaning of the people, places, and experiences that are significant to them during their placement. It is intended for use throughout the internship abroad. Learning Objectives: - To be able to use visual documentation as a tool for structured reflection during and after the internship abroad. - To be able to identify and articulate what is personally and professionally significant in an unfamiliar educational and cultural environment. - To be able to connect observations from their placement to broader questions about teaching practice, priorities, and differences in music education across contexts. - To be aware of ethical considerations around photography in school settings and to act with sensitivity and responsibility.
