This document serves as the introduction and orientation guide for mentor music teachers beginning the TEAM project's OER course on hosting and mentoring student teachers during a school internship abroad (SIA). It introduces the purpose and scope of the mentoring role, provides an overview of the course materials available, and offers guidance on how and when to engage with each resource across the phases of the internship. Learning Objectives: - To understand the role and responsibilities of a mentor teacher hosting a student teacher during a school internship abroad. - To know which course materials are relevant to a given phase of the internship (preparation and planning, placement, or post-internship). - To be able to navigate the OER course materials independently, selecting and sequencing resources according to one's own context and needs. - To be able to locate further research and resources related to the TEAM project for continued professional development.
